City Tavern's menus reflect its commitment to offering high quality, fresh seafood, steaks and regional American cuisine at reasonable prices. We are part Fish House, part Steak House, with a nice touch of Old Kansas City thrown in for good measure. Fresh, Cold Water Oysters

City Tavern is proud of its oysters -- all from the icy cold waters of the North Atlantic and the Pacific Northwest. Nobody in Kansas City sells more oysters than City Tavern. That volume means one thing: freshness, which has helped City Tavern's earn its reputation for great oysters.

Happy Hour at City Tavern

Monday, 4 pm to 9 pm, and Tuesday through Friday, 4 pm to 6 pm the bar at City Tavern is packed with Kansas Citians getting happy on our famous $1 Oysters, $3 Well Drinks and Boulevard Drafts, ½ Priced Appetizers, and $5 glasses of Red and White House Wine. Join us soon!
